40 year old Jamshed is skilled in the art of Zari and Gota embroidery. Jamshed has been in this field of work since the past 20 years but the last 2 years have been difficult for him and his family. With less gatherings and events during COVID the demand for these ceremonial dresses has decreased. With less orders and increasing inflation, Jamshed has struggled to make ends meet. Jamshed’s three young children are studying in private schools and he has been unable to generate enough income to pay their fees. Jamshed wants to purchase raw material including fabric, thread, frames and decorative stuff to prepare new articles.
