42 year old Shamim Akhtar is a seamstress and has been working after her husband’s demise. Shamim is a mother of 6 children, only one of whom works as a driver in a private company. Both incomes do not suffice to cater for the family’s needs so Shamim wants to teach sewing to the neighborhood girls for better income. The lady has applied for a loan of $400 to purchase 6 sewing machines for girls to come and learn. This will support Shamim in earning a better livelihood for the family.
